I knew immediately that I HAD to HAVE this planner. The black and white stripes + floral + gold foil = SWOON. I could not wait to get my hot little hands on this. And it did not disappoint. SO GORGEOUS.

I go back and forth between the gold band and the new banded zipper pocket. LOVE having my favorite things attached to my planner. I have found that proximity and ease of use are the keys to my planning game success.

The addition of two-year at a glance pages is fabulous. LOVE the touch of floral and fun font. REALLY LOVE the new combinations of colors and fonts on the monthly and weekly pages. Particularly excited about the PURPLE in this planner.

The simplicity of the monthly goals and planning pages caught my eye immediately. Plenty of room for washi birthday cakes, photos, notes, and journaling. Looking forward to spicing up the polka dots: perhaps a gratitude type journal, one dot = one happy.

Sweet Stamp Shop: October Planner Layout

I am dreaming of fall while we continue to have 90+ degree weather here in California. I am ready for sweaters, boots, and warm cups of coffee. I instantly fell in love with the Fall Into Christmas set of stamps the second I saw them and knew that I wanted to use them for my October monthly layout. I gathered all of my supplies: Versafine black ink pad, acrylic blocks, colored pencils, and stamps.

I work with my pages removed from my planner (no more wrist gymnastics needed to fill in Tuesday and Wednesday). While planning, I keep my boys’ game schedules, school calendars, and my school calendar in front of me and fill in the calendar accordingly.

Once everything is stamped, I go back and color in the images with colored pencils. I then write in the activities, labels, and times. Pages are then placed back into my planner. I love how fun it is to decorate the top of the calendar with the little stamp icons and words. I do my best to balance to colors used throughout both pages:

Goal setting is really important to me and I love having Bucket Lists to help keep me on track. Inspired by the stamps, I whipped together a Fall Bucket List on a simple tag. I want to keep it as a monthly page marker, so I ran it through my laminator and punched holes in it. The bucket list is made using the same supplies mentioned above: Versafine black ink pad and colored pencils.

Snaps right into place…fall is my absolute favorite time of year. I have intended to bake a pie from scratch for the last three years. I will get it done this year. What is on your Fall Bucket List?

Summer Bucket List 2015

summerbucketlist2015

Constructing our family Summer Bucket List has become one of my favorite summer traditions. This year, I went with a texture and chalkboard theme. I plan to use the clips to attach photos of our adventures. There is a small envelope in the bottom corner housing a few of our activities that didn’t fit in the clipped tagged area. Looking forward to a summer of fun, laughter and adventure. I also made a small portable version of our bucket list to carry with me in my me & my BIG ideas The Happy Planner. I love summer ❤
